What are "sequential autoresponders" and how will they benefit my business?

Now, it's much easier than it sounds. "Sequential autoresponders" are simply a series of super-motivating email messages that can be sent out automatically to your newest customers and subscribers starting the moment they buy a product from your eBay store, add you to their favorites, or sign up for your newsletter.Great for realtionship building and getting repeat sales and more.

For example when some subscribes to your newsletter you might use sequential autoresponders to do the following:

Day 1: Send them a Thank-you for subscribing email message. This looks very professional and helps to establish a relationship of trust.
Day 3: Send them an email giving the new subscriber more information about the different products and services that you've set up to help them (this encourages people to return to your eBay store for another look at your offer.
Day 5: Send them a special offer or discount that you give new sib scribers only (this is an easy way to capture 30% to 40% more sales automatically).
Day 7: Provide them with links to back issues of your newsletter and remind the subscriber about a category in your eBay store that features sales and seasonal specials (again, you're encouraging the subscriber to return to your eBay store and check out your offer).

...and so on!
How do "sequential autoresponders" benefit my business?

The best thing is, once you've set up these autoresponders ) it's very easy to do with Email user-friendly "Wizards" that'll lead you step-by-step through the process), you'll be able to walk away…and these responders will do ALL of this follow-up automatically!


How do I use autoresponders with eBay: it's not automatic?


That's ok- you can use automated email managers for your regular websites and newsletters. For eBay, I just type out my email messages in my email program(like outlook or yahoo. Then I copy and paste the text into WORD. I'll paste all my messages for a series on one document. For example- let's say you sell wholesale DVDs, or jewelry. Someone signed up for your free 5 week course on "How to make money selling DVDs on eBay" or "How to promote and market Jewelry for a great profit". Each week you'd simply copy and paste the lesson into your eBay mail manager and send it out. Save multiple series in different folders so you can find them easily.


You'll be able to use sequential autoresponders to:

  • Convert at least 1 in 12 of your NEW newsletter subscribers into paying customers- within 3 days of their sign-up- by sending them autoresponders with MORE information about your products and services, and special "subscriber-only" offers
