However, we can dream about what we want in the future and then we have a choice: 1) To do what it takes to make those dreams come true, or 2) Sit back and keep on wishing we could inherit a fortune from a long-lost relative or win the lottery. Earning enough income to pay today’s monthly living expenses is becoming exceedingly more difficult. For some people it’s hard enough to pay your bills, let alone have any money leftover for savings or for fun. There are just too many "rainy days."
What kind of future do we have to At first glance it may appear bleak, but with the proper knowledge, you can take the steps to create a FANTASTIC ONE!! So you ask, "What is it I am already doing every day that I could be getting paid for doing?" What happens when you toss a stone into a pool of water? You pick out a stone, toss it high up in the air and then watch it arc and fall "plop" into the water; creating a series of rings that gracefully ripple out away from the center until the outer ring slowly diminishes and finally smoothes out. Advertising has a similar "ripple effect". How many of us have gone to the movies and then told our friends how great the show was? How often has someone asked you where you get your hair done at, or what lawn service do you use, or do you know a good CPA? This is known as word-of-mouth advertising. Companies spend millions of dollars on advertising every day. We all know a 30-second slot for a commercial during the Superbowl is around $3,000,000! However, companies understand the most effective means of advertising is through referral to our friends, associates, and family. A good manager will go out of his way to provide good service to a customer. One customer that eats regularly at a buffet-style cafeteria is worth an estimated value of $8,000 per year. One customer at a grocery store is worth an estimated $10,000 per year alone multiplied by the number of friends, acquaintances, and relatives they refer business to. Customer A: Let’s say customer A buys a defective grocery item and tries to return it at the customer service counter. On that particular day, the employee at the customer service counter has had a bad morning. His car wouldn’t start, then he got stuck in traffic; you get the picture. We’ve all had days like that. He treats customer A in a very non-polite manner and customer A leaves the store very upset. What do you think happens next? Customer A goes to work, then to the gym, takes his kids to soccer practice, etc. Meanwhile, he is telling everyone about the bad experience he had at the grocery store. Let’s say that ten out of all the people he spoke to decide to not shop at that particular store anymore and took their business to the nearby competitor’s grocery store. This one incident just cost the grocery store over $100,000 per year! Who knows how many of those ten people told their friends and neighbors, and so on and so forth. And that is just from 1 incident!! Talk about a ripple effect! Now let’s talk about customer B. She comes in to return an out-dated item. The employee treats her impolitely (boy, this guy sure must have a lot of bad days!). Anyway, he is rude to her but the manager steps in and apologizes, reprimands the employee, and offers a free product and gift certificate worth $50. Customer B walks away more than satisfied. She continues on with her routine activities and tells her friends and associates about the positive experience she had at the grocery store, and about the free $50 certificate she got! Ten of her friends decide, "Hey, that’s the type of service I want to get, I’m going to shop at that store. Maybe I’ll get $50 someday if I ever have a problem." This brings in an additional business of $100,000 or more a year!" So, was it worth the time and $50 the store manager gave customer B? You bet it was! A good businessperson understands the importance and value of each customer and word-of mouth advertising. Believe it or not, there are hundreds of companies in the United States today that will pay you for referring their products or services to others. How does this work? Instead of paying $3,000,000 to advertise during the Superbowl for example, the company takes the money and pays the people who do the word of mouth advertising. The expense of the middleman is cut out because the person doing the word of mouth advertising gets paid directly; no advertising and no middle man costs! Thus the savings is passed on to the word of mouth advertisers. These companies are willing to pay you a check every month based on the number of people you have referred to the Company, and how many products are sold because of your referral; not based upon how much time you put in "at the office". Getting a paycheck month after month The type of companies that pay these word of mouth advertising bonuses are called Network Marketing, Marketing or Direct sales companies. There are literally millions of people all around the world receiving these word of mouth advertising checks every month. While most people receive several hundred dollars a month for their efforts, others are earning millions of dollars every year. Just for referring people to a company that pays you to let people know about their products. How would you like to earn an income in excess of a hundred thousand dollars a year? Who wouldn’t?? Doing Here is where it starts. There are 5 basic areas you need to include in your plan of action if you want to earn the income and live the lifestyle you have chosen for yourself. 1). You must determine you are ready to make a change in your life. We all have the free agency to take control of our lives; we have the option to change. You must have the desire to do better, then take that desire and put it to work. It is much easier to sit back on the couch and watch TV or scratch off a lottery ticket then to change. You must be committed to achieve what it is you desire. Everyone reaches a point in his or her lives when they are no longer employed or working a job. What happens when your paycheck stops? Will the mortgage company and bill collectors care? No! They will still need their payments. Ask yourself; is this the time for you? You can choose to work for 40 years, at 40 hours a week, and retire with a $40 watch, or we can find a way to speed up the process, and have more money and time to do what we want. Now you are ready to start working on a new lifestyle- the one YOU want. 2). You need a vehicle to provide the means to support the lifestyle you have decided to live. Once you have made the decision to start changing your life, the next principle comes in to play, the method that will support those changes. There are a variety of methods people use to get additional income. Some of these include getting a second or third job, both spouses work, real estate investing, stock and mutual fund investing, starting a business, and network marketing. Once you have determined the method for you, determine the quality of that vehicle. Make sure you do your homework and get the best source available. If you choose investing, consult with a broker who can help you make an educated decision and wisely choose the best place for you to invest your money with the greatest return. You wouldn’t pick a company with just the toss of a coin. The same goes for network marketing. There are many excellent marketing companies in the network marketing industry. However, 90% of these companies go out of business within a year or two. Here are a few things to look for:
Millions of people are currently building a continual income paycheck in network marketing. It is the professional’s preferred method of creating wealth. It is the most effective way to create a continuous income stream that anyone can do regardless of his or her current financial situation. 3). Making the Changes The most important change that will dramatically affect your results is the change that begins with you. First, take a moment to step aside and take a look at where you are in your life. What goals do you have and when are you doing to accomplish them? How are you doing at balancing all aspects of your life, making sure you keep your priorities in line? Here are a few questions to ask yourself:
Look at what you have already accomplished in your life. Figure out what things you have done in the past that have helped you and keep on doing those things. Stop doing those things that have not helped you, that are not working to help you reach your potential. Always look for new, positive things to help motivate you that are uplifting. Read at least 10- 15 minutes a day, listen to a tape, or watch a video that will provide motivation and positive influences. Remember; change is a life-long process, one step at a time. The secret key to successful Network Marketing, Relationship Marketing. Most people do not understand the importance of relationship marketing. If you try to "recruit" people into your company because of it’s great products and/or services without building a relationship with them, you might not have a good relationship. Don’t waste your time and money. Products and services are important of course, but if the people who join you do not know, like, or trust you; they will eventually leave. People do business with people they trust. Build up your name, create a group name; people like to be part of a team. Show others you want them to succeed, even if they don't join your company for the time being. Help them, by showing interest in what they are doing. People will remember what you did for them. When the timing is right, they will come to you and ask to join you, regardless of what company you are in. Your lifestyle change may rely upon other people. As you begin to change, you will be able to teach others what principles you have learned and help them to make the changes they want.
